Is the first meeting free of charge?

The introductory conversation is not charged. Its purpose is to understand the work and whether we are a suitable partner. It is not a substitute for a paid consulting engagement.

What information should I share to receive a proposal?

What you wish to develop or change, who it is for, any existing systems that matter, an approximate timeline, and a sense of constraints. A formal brief is not required. We ask for further detail only where it affects the proposal.

How soon do you reply?

We read every message and reply on weekdays. If we are not in a position to help, we say so.

Can you hold meetings online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We meet by video as a matter of course, and in person where that is useful. We operate from London and Istanbul.

Do you work with companies outside Istanbul?

Yes. The studio is in Istanbul and the registered office is in London. Location is not a requirement for working together.

Do you serve clients abroad?

We work with organisations in the United Kingdom, Europe and Türkiye. Enquiries from other locations are considered according to the work, the language of delivery, and practical constraints.

Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?

Yes. Please say so in your message, or write to business@startbase.dev, and we will send an agreement before any confidential detail is discussed.

Question 9

Can I share an existing project document or idea in confidence?

Accepted Answer

Once an NDA is in place, you may share briefs, documents and product ideas in the ordinary course of an enquiry. We treat that material as confidential and use it only to assess the work.

How can I reach you for urgent requests?

Write to business@startbase.dev and mark the message as urgent. We review enquiries on weekdays during working hours. If we can accommodate the timing, we say so in the reply.

Where should I write for collaboration, partnership or career applications?

Accepted Answer

The same address: business@startbase.dev. Please state the subject clearly in the first line so the message can be directed. We review partnership and career notes when they are relevant to current work.
